Travel Tips
Booking Your Flight: - Check your airline's website to learn their restrictions for carry-on luggage and the weight restrictions of checked luggage. You may be charged extra money or denied boarding if your luggage exceeds their weight restrictions. Allegiant Air Northwest Airlines United Airlines Before You Get Here: - Confirm your flight with your airline before you leave for the airport. If you suspect there may be a delay or cancellation, view our flight information or contact the airline.

- Label your bags both inside and out with your name and contact information, but don't lock them unless you use a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved lock. View the TSA's website www.tsa.gov to learn where to purchase one.
- Dress accordingly for the security checkpoints. Try to avoid wearing excessive metal, and be prepared to remove your shoes.
- If you are 18 or older you must have your photo identification. A passport is required for ALL persons traveling outside of the United States.
- Some airlines require a signed letter or other documentation for children not traveling with their parent or legal guardian so having a signed letter on hand may be helpful.
Security Considerations: - Familiarize yourself with the permitted and prohibited items list from the TSA to avoid having items confiscated at the security checkpoint. A prohibited item may delay your flight or you may be denied boarding.
- Get acquainted with 311, a travel tip provided by TSA, describing what amount and which kind of liquids or gels are allowed in your carry-on.
Getting To and From the Airport: - Plan ahead! See our Ground Transportation section to view all of our transportation options.
- Check in early to avoid stress. Arriving at the airport two hours before your flight is recommended.
Getting Home: - Reconfirm your flight ahead of time and arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to check your bags and get through security.
